Keith’s nostalgic original paintings are brimming with humour, pathos and authenticity. They offer us a glimpse of childhood and remind us that love, fun and friendship will enchant and uplift us regardless of our ages. A tireless and habitual observer of shape, light and colour, Keith is fascinated by the colours found in reflected light and shadow, it is the study of the effects that these shades have on each other that interests him most. His application of oil paint is rapid and he uses a palette of only five colours, applied with bold and confident brushwork.
